This Mandeville couple’s wedding ceremony and reception took place at Trinity Banquets & Receptions in Slidell, Louisiana.  This is an elegant and spacious event facility on the Northshore, and has the benefit of a separate room for the ceremony to be held, which eliminates the need to rearrange one space for the reception after the ceremony is over.  But my favorite feature was the large room that is designated for bridal prep and photography, eliminating the need to do these pictures out in the open, which can sometimes cause stress for brides when guests are arriving and she does not want to be seen.  There is also a newly-completed similar room just for the groom’s side, which would be very handy for doing pre-ceremony formal group shots separately without having to worry about shuffling the bride around to avoid her and the groom seeing each other.  But in this case, that was not a concern, as Katherine and Matthew chose to have a first look, which enabled us to finish all of the formal photographs before the ceremony.  So, after the ceremony, which was officiated by Maylyn Geissler, we were able to head straight over to the reception, which was expertly coordinated by Trinity’s staff.  The couple’s first dance was spectacular!
