Wedding at The Jaxson in New Orleans

This absolutely delightful couple started out their wedding day with a first look at the Bourbon Orleans Hotel in the French Quarter.  We then headed down to The Jaxson, where the wedding ceremony and reception were to be held.  This elegant and modern space located in Jax Brewery is one of the newest event venues in New Orleans, and the sleek and sophisticated look as well as the ideal location puts this venue at the top of the list for many couples.  The outdoor ceremony, held on the adjacent patio area, was officiated by a close friend of the couple, who did a great job!  Back inside for the reception, the bride herself crafted flowers for every table using book pages… loved this!  Their first dance was absolutely unique… an unplugged rendition of the famous Beatles tune, All You Need is Love, with a friend playing guitar and all of the guests singing along as the couple danced, with the Jaxson’s house DJ providing the entertainment afterward.  About an hour before the conclusion of the reception, the Free Agents Brass Band showed up and took over, much to the delight of the guests.  At the end of the night, the band led everyone down the large steps of Jax Brewery and onto the street for a second line parade to B Mac’s, where the party was to continue!
