Diana & John’s Wedding at Hotel Mazarin

This wonderful north-Louisiana came to New Orleans for an intimate weekday wedding at the Hotel Mazarin, and although there were only about 30 people in attendance, that did not stop this group from having a fantastic party!  Diana was the sweetest bride imaginable, not letting anything get her down, despite the fact that mother nature was threatening to, literally, rain on her parade… the Hotel Mazarin’s courtyard was protected from the weather, but a second line parade was planned for immediately after the ceremony (which was officiated by Rev. Zimmer).  But as it turned out, the rain had diminished to just a very light drizzle by then, and the decision was made to go for it!  The parade, led by the Kinfolk Brass Band, looped through the French Quarter, ending up back at the hotel for the reception.  John was a hilarious character, with a bellowing laugh that reverberated through the room as he visited with friends and family.  At the end of the night, again proceeding despite a persisting light rain, the couple was given a sparkler send-off by their guests, into a waiting carriage.
