Beautiful afternoon light filters through clouds during wedding ceremony at Berry Barn in Amite, Louisiana, a rural area near Hammond, about an hour north of New Orleans. Berry Barn is a venue located on an actually real working farm, and also features on-site accommodations for the bride and groom to get ready in.
This particular wedding took place in early August, which ordinarily would run the risk of perhaps being too uncomformably hot for an outdoor ceremony. But this couple was blessed with an uncharacteristically mild afternoon, as a strong thunderstorm approaching was delivering a delightfully cool breeze across the area.
Fortunately we finished the ceremony and our group shots and made it inside before the rain hit!
