It was great to shoot a wedding in my hometown of Slidell! Danielle & Kris had their ceremony and reception on the beautiful grounds of a private residence on scenic Bayou Bonfouca. Though we had a persistent light rain for most of the day, that didn’t stop everyone from having a great time! Most of my equipment is weather-sealed, but shooting in these conditions (wet, warm, humid) is still tough, as it’s a constant battle to keep my lenses clear of water and foggy condensation. But, on the brighter side (no pun intended), the light was very beautiful that afternoon!
