Joanna and Marcus had their ceremony and reception at the elegant Ormond Planation in Destrehan Louisiana. I loved the groom’s cake… with the wedding just a few days before Halloween, the cake depicted zombies making their way up towards the top, where the bride and groom were waiting to fight them off. Family members put together the other wonderful Halloween decorations, including a pair of amazing pumpkins with the couple’s faces!
I had a great time shooting Elise & Jon’s engagement portrait several months ago, and their wedding at Ormond Plantation in Destrehan was a lot fun as well. Due to rain, the ceremony had to be moved inside, but that didn’t dampen their spirits in the least!
This Texas couple’s ceremony and reception were at the historic Ormond Plantation located on the Mississippi River in Destrehan. Their precious little daughter was the flower girl, though she was a bit overwhelmed and needed a little help getting down the aisle!
