This happy couple exchanged vows at St. Timothy Methodist Church in Mandeville. Afterwards, we headed over to the Pontchartrain Yacht Club for the reception, which was, of course, decorated in a nautical / marine motif (even the cake!). Northshore band Four Unplugged (though there’s more than 4 of them, and they’re not unplugged!) kept the crowd entertained all afternoon, while Patton’s of Slidell did a wonderful job catering. The event was expertly coordinated by Details by Josie.
Amanda was one calmest, most relaxed brides I’d ever seen! After her and Matt exchanged vows at Mandeville’s Our Lady of the Lake church, it was off to the historic Annadele’s Plantation in Covington for the reception.
Many New Orleans area weddings feature amazing, creative groom’s cakes, and Matt’s cake was no exception, being in the form of a snare drum (Matt is a drummer in the Baton Rouge band Horseshoes & Handgrenades).
The night was capped off with a wonderful sparkler send-off!
