Jennifer & Rob’s Wedding – Maison Dupuy Hotel, New Orleans – 3/21/08

When this fun New York couple came down in December for their engagement portrait, we had a great time, and I’ve been anxiously awaiting their wedding! It was a wonderful evening at the Maison Dupuy Hotel’s beautiful courtyard.

Before the ceremony, we took a few minutes to roam around the French Quarter to get some fun shots.

Amanda & Ben’s Wedding – Maison Dupuy Hotel, New Orleans – 10/13/07

Amanda and Ben had contacted me in March, and were living in Los Angeles at the time. Coincidentally, I was scheduled to shoot in Los Angeles a few weeks later, so we were able to meet in person, which is often not possible with couples from out-of-town. I found them to be a wonderful couple, and I was thrilled when they informed me a few weeks later that they had chosen me to photograph their wedding at the Maison Dupuy. After getting some shots of the bridal party roaming around the French Quarter, we were off to the couple’s suite, where the beautiful Ketubah, created by Ben and Amanda (well, ok, mostly Amanda!) was to be signed. A wonderful ceremony, and lively reception followed. But the highlight of the night was a thrilling second line march through the French Quarter, led by the Algiers Brass Band.

Catherine & Nate’s Wedding – St. Phillp Neri, Metairie & Maison Dupuy Hotel, New Orleans – 7/14/07

After the ceremony at St. Phillip Neri in Metairie, we headed to the Masion Dupuy in the French Quarter for the reception. The Distractions entertained, doing an outstanding job as usual. At the end of the night, the couple was given a wonderful sparkler send-off.
