Photojournalistic wedding photography & portraits for New Orleans, Baton Rouge, and the North Shore
This wonderful New York couple had a fantastic wedding, coordinated by Unique Weddings in New Orleans. The ceremony took place at Immaculate Conception, and then we were led by a brass band to the reception at Latrobe’s, where Ronald Jones and his band performed (though Fran also took to the microphone and sang for Anne). At the end of the night, the couple departed through sparklers!
Megan and Zack had a wonderful wedding, with the ceremony and reception taking place at Latrobe’s. We started out with an emotional “first look”, and then Rev. Johnny Adams conducted the ceremony, which was followed by a festive Second Line through the French Quarter led by the Storyville Stompers. Back at Latrobe’s, Terrence Simien & the Zydeco Experience provided the distinctly New Orleans-flavored entertainment.
The bouquet toss was fixed!
The couple joined Terrence and the band on stage for some washboard playing.
Stacy & Dustin’s wedding was a lot of fun. The ceremony and reception were both at Latrobe’s, a great venue in the French Quarter. After the ceremony, the Treme Brass Band took us on a Second Line around the Quarter, ending up back at Latrobe’s for the reception, where Jack Magic Entertainment provided the DJ service for the night and did a great job.
At the end of the night, the couple departed through sparklers (and, on a side note, it takes a lot of discipline to concentrate on shooting when hot sparkler embers are falling on your head!).
