Erin & Sanjeev’s Wedding at Nirvana, Holy Name, and Gallier Hall | 10/22/11

I had a great time working with Erin and Sanjeev for their engagement portrait earlier this year, and their wedding was truly a spectacular event! First was an exquisite Hindu ceremony at Nirvana Restaurant on Magazine Street. Then later in the evening, a Catholic ceremony was held at beautiful Holy Name of Jesus Church, after which we headed to Gallier Hall for the reception, where Bobby J & Stuff Like That Band entertained, with Andrea Patton coordinating the event. And I owe a big “thank you” to Erin’s sister Amy for standing in line to grab me a plate of jambalaya so that I could keep shooting uninterrupted!

This delightful couple was wed in an early afternoon ceremony at Holy Name of Jesus on St. Charles Ave., and then we headed over to the Riverview Room in Jax Brewery for the reception.

Wedding at Holy Name of Jesus & Rosy’s Jazz Hall – Jessica & Grayson – 11/20/10

Jessica & Grayson’s ceremony was held at the beautiful Holy Name of Jesus church on St. Charles Ave.

We then headed over to Rosy’s Jazz Hall for the reception. There, Jessica had a special surprised planned for Grayson. Grayson is a big fan of famed New Orleans artist Frenchy, and Jessica secretly commissioned him to create a painting of their reception. It was great to see Grayson’s reaction when he was introduced to Frenchy!

It’s always an absolute blast to shoot a wedding where the Bucktown All-Stars are performing!

Frenchy worked on this beautiful painting throughout the night.
