This Texas couple exchanged vows in a ceremony at St. Joseph Church in Gulfport. We then headed down to the Gulfport Yacht Club for the reception. The GYC’s new building is beautiful, and the ballroom is a great place for weddings.
Aretha and Eddie had a wonderful first dance to, appropriately, Stars Over Texas.
Eddie is an Air Force pilot, and his groom’s cake was a fabulous rendition of a jet taking off, complete with soda cans tied on to the back of it!
As was the case with their engagement portrait several weeks ago, this couple once again demonstrated an uncanny degree of luck with regards to the weather. The entire area had experienced torrential rain for most of the day, but just in time for their ceremony on the beach in Pass Christian Mississippi, there was a break in the rain.
Of course, it was still quite windy!
Afterwards, we headed across the bridge for the reception at the Bay-Waveland Yacht Club, and at the end of the night Desiree and Danny departed through line of sparklers!
It was a stormy day, but fortunately the skies cleared up just in time for our portrait session. We shot at several locations in the Pass Christian and Long Beach areas, and Desiree’s adorable daughter Danielle joined in for some shots as well. Their wedding is just a month away, with the ceremony on the beach in Pass Christian and the reception at the Bay Waveland Yacht Club.
