St. John the Baptist Church & Board of Trade New Orleans Wedding – Erikka & Kris – 5/26/07

After the ceremony at the beautiful St. John the Baptist church, we headed over to the elegant Board of Trade in downtown New Orleans for the reception. There, this New York couple put on the most incredible and precisely choreographed first dance I’ve ever seen! The Distractions, a talented band with an awesome horn section, provided the entertainment, and the event was beautifully coordinated by Michele Adams of Unique Weddings in New Orleans.

Cerise & Robby’s Wedding – St. Louis Cathedral & Monteleone Hotel, New Orleans – 5/19/07

This Chicago couple’s wedding was at St. Louis Cathedral. At the beginning of the ceremony, the couple’s priest expressed how excited he was to be marrying them, pulled a camera out of his pocket and began snapping pictures of the couple… that was a first for me, and a very memorable moment! A sit-down dinner and reception followed at the historic Monteleone Hotel, with coordinator Michele Adams of Unique Weddings in New Orleans ensuring a trouble-free evening for the couple. Cerise & Robby got a wonderful send-off from sparkler-wielding guests!

London & John – Immaculate Conception Church & Latrobe’s, New Orleans – 4/28/07

This very fun and cheerful couple was married at Immaculate Conception church in downtown New Orleans, with a second line to the reception at Latrobe’s, one of the best venues in New Orleans. While most couples choose a slow love song for their first dance, London & John danced to The Beatle’s “When I’m Sixty-Four”. Both of them are doctors, and London convinced Haydel’s Bakery to create one of most impressive groom’s cakes I’ve ever seen, in the form of a doctor’s bag.
