Photojournalistic wedding photography & portraits for New Orleans, Baton Rouge, and the North Shore
What a great experience this was! Around 130 photographers from all over the U.S. and even a few from places as far away as Australia and Japan, converged on our city for the opportunity to learn from a group of internationally recognized photographers. Class sizes were kept small, which made for an ideal learning environment, and we had a great time shooting with some wonderful models in the Quarter!
I was in Washington DC for the week photographing a big medical conference, and was able to spend a day walking the National Mall. I’ve been to DC five times in the past few years, and I never tire of it!
Just a quick note to let my couples know that all is well here. Because Slidell was near the edge of the projected hurricane force winds (and because our house survived a direct hit from Katrina), we decided not to evacuate, and instead hunkered down for the storm.
We had moderately strong winds and heavy rain on Monday, tapering off that night, but suffered no significant damage. Power has been restored, though our cable & internet is still down (so I’m posting this from the iPhone).
