I had a great time doing Jocelyn and Nathan’s engagement portrait last month, and was looking forward to their wedding at the Baton Rouge Hilton Capitol Center. The forecast was ominous… heavy rain, strong winds, tornadoes. But fortunately, this bad weather cleared out early, giving way to a very nice afternoon and evening for a wedding. Unique Weddings in New Orleans coordinated the event.
The ceremony was held on the pool deck, and then we headed up to the elegant Heidelberg Ballroom for the reception.
Vieux Carre came in from New Orleans to provide the entertainment, and did a fabulous job! At the end of the night, the couple was given a sparkler send-off by the family and friends, and they complied with the guests’ shouts of “go back through again!”, and ran the gauntlet of sparklers one more time.
