Alanna & Steven’s Wedding

My last wedding of the year was at the wonderful Southern Oaks Plantation in New Orleans.  Alanna & Steven make a wonderful couple, and I enjoyed photographing their wedding.  Steven’s father, who passed away several years ago, was an NOPD veteran with over 20 years on the force.  In remembrance, Steven wore a small NOPD shield on his tie.

Rev. John Zimmer officiated the emotional ceremony, and the reception was non-stop fun, with the great food and awesome service Southern Oaks is known for.

Diane Phillips - Steven is one of the FINEST young men I know. Second only to my own son. I am sooooo happy for him and Alanna, and I wish them all the happisness they are so deserving of. Very touching “intro” about the NOPD Shield that Steven wore to honor his late father. That just supports my statement about Steven being one fine young man. Congrat’s Steven & Alanna.
