Lina & BJ had by far the most unique ceremony venue I’ve encountered… the basket of a hot air balloon a few hundred feet above the ground, with expert balloon pilot Robert Ambeau. It was an amazing experience, and I’m thankful this couple chose me to photograph their wedding! We then headed back to the French Quarter for a reception at the Royal Sonesta’s Fleur de Lis Room.
This amazing couple was a joy to work with. Their intimate wedding and reception took place in the elegant courtyard of Margaret Gardens. They have lovingly restored a classic sailboat, and plan to sail around the world (yes, the world), leaving in 3 – 4 years… you can follow their adventures here!
