Lindsey & Shawn’s wedding took place at the beautiful Maison Dupuy Hotel in the French Quarter. We started out with a “first look” in the small back courtyard… those are always make for great images! The ceremony and reception took place in the larger main courtyard. The Brandon Foret Band entertained… what a great band! A few of the couple’s friends joined in to sing some songs as well.
I had a great time with this fun Baton Rouge couple in the French Quarter. Our first attempt several weeks ago was rained out, and it looked like this would be the case again, but it turned out to be a beautiful day!
I had photographed the wedding of Donna’s sister, Tanya, last year, and was delighted when Tanya asked me to photograph Donna and Andre’s intimate wedding celebration at Tanya and Maxim’s home. Maxim provided the ceremony music, and I particularly enjoyed his performance of Bach’s Suite for Solo Cello No. 1 in G Major.
