This wonderful Texas couple had a very intimate wedding at the Maison Perrier, with only close family in attendance. After Julie & Scott had their “first look”, we took a little time to get some shots of just the two of them, and then did the ceremony, with Judge Mary K. Norman officiating and doing a fantastic job as usual.
I had gotten some great shots of Emily & John during their engagement portrait a few months ago, and had been looking forward to their wedding! The ceremony and reception both took place at the elegant Bourbon Orleans Hotel in the French Quarter. At the end of the ceremony, the happy couple danced down the aisle to James Brown’s “I Feel Good” which everyone got a kick out of. Melanie & Christine from Blink were on hand to capture the event on video, and were a lot of fun to work with!
Elizabeth was one of those incredibly laid-back, unflappable brides, and her and Steven were a pleasure to work with! Their wedding was in the beautiful courtyard of the St. Louis Hotel in the French Quarter, with the gorgeous flowers and other decorations created by Bee’s. After the ceremony, we did a quick Second Line around the block, and then back at the hotel for the reception, where Voodoo Funk & Soul Co. entertained.
