I had a great time photographing Natalie’s sister’s wedding almost two years ago, and was thrilled to be invited to work with this wonderful family again. Natalie & Nick’s ceremony took place at the beautiful St. John the Baptist Church in New Orleans, with the reception being held at the Westin Canal Place. It was a stormy evening, but that didn’t stop everyone from having a great time!
Nick had a really neat groom’s cake… a beautifully rendered wilderness scene.
The couple picked No Idea to entertain during the reception. As usual, the band did a great job, and Troy even manned a washboard as they performed Jambalaya! (and that’s a good example of how versatile this band is… they can go from rock to zydeco to modern dance to motown, and sound right at home with all these genres).
