A stormy early morning gave way to perfect weather for this wonderful couple’s wedding, which took place at the gorgeous Audubon Tea Room. Ellie’s family owns Blue Frog Chocolates on Magazine St., and there was an incredible amount of candy for guests to enjoy. Each dinner table had a different bowl of candy, and guest were encouraged to venture from table to table to visit with friends and family and to sample the various confections at each.
Dr. Jazz provided the entertainment for the reception, though Ellie’s family not only performed for the Tisch prior to the ceremony, but also took the stage during the reception to play San Francisco Bay Blues.
In short, it was a spectacular night!

This friendly Georgia couple’s ceremony took place at Zion Lutheran Church on St. Charles Ave. The reception was in the beautiful courtyard of the St. Louis Hotel in the French Quarter. Though it was a bit chilly outside, the heaters and the canopy overhead kept it comfortable in the courtyard. Dr. Jazz entertained, doing a great job as usual! At the end of the night, the couple received a festive send-off, and departed on a carriage!
