Natalie’s Bridal Portrait – New Orleans Museum of Art & City Park

I photographed Natalie’s sister Melissa’s wedding last year, and was delighted when Natalie called to inform me that she was engaged and had selected me to photograph her wedding as well.  Her ceremony will take place at the beautiful St. John the Baptist church in New Orleans, with the reception at the Westin Canal Place.

But this pleasant Fall day, I had the pleasure of photographing Natalie in front of the New Orleans Museum of Art, and in City Park.

Christ Church Cathedral & Elms Mansion Wedding, New Orleans – Sarah & Billy

This delightful couple’s ceremony took place at beautiful Christ Church Cathedral on St. Charles Avenue. Then it was a quick second line march just a few blocks away, led by members of the band Flip Side, to the elegant Elms Mansion for the reception. At the reception, the band performed a great variety of old and new music that kept the dance floor packed.

Outside, Dr. Jazz entertained with a more mellow selection of songs as guests ate, chatted, and danced.

Though the wedding cake was gorgeous, equally impressive was the beautifully rendered Fleur De Lis groom’s cake.

And when it came time to toss the bouquet, Billy (who is a college baseball pitching coach) gave Sarah a little quick coaching on this important throw!
