As this church’s priest said, “How often does one get the opportunity to wed Mary and Joseph?” Covington Presbyterian is a smaller church, and the rich wood paneling throughout give it a very warm and cozy feel. The glorious sunlight streaming in through the stained glass windows provided very nice lighting, a rarity for church weddings. A reception followed at Beau Chen Country Club, during which Joe sat in with the band and gave a rousing performance of Mustang Sally!
Katie & Emilio’s wedding took place at St. Phillip Neri in Metairie. A very festive reception followed at the elegant Board of Trade in downtown New Orleans, with one of the most tightly-packed dance floors I’ve ever seen!
NOMA was the setting for Brandie’s bridal portrait. A genuinely nice person, her and her equally affable fiancé Charles booked me a whopping 14 months in advance. I am really looking forward to their wedding this June.
