St. John the Baptist is yet another old and beautiful New Orleans church. I was delighted to be able to grab a few shots from a loft that provided a view of the couple’s faces during the ceremony, a rarity for church weddings. A lively reception followed at the Sheraton Hotel’s spacious Armstrong Room.
This very fun couple chose Audubon Park as the setting for their engagement portrait session. We got many great shots, though my favorites were in front of this huge tree that looked like it had been blasted by lightning at some point in its history.
This was an intimate wedding in the beautiful courtyard of Broussard’s. The lighting was perfect… the soft light from the overcast early evening sky was just bright enough to sufficiently light the subjects, while not overpowering the elegant accent lighting of the courtyard.
